Combining field recordings, vocal manipulations, instrumental material and extended digital methodologies, Gail Priest has created a haunting cabinet of curiosities that works beautifully as a full length listening experience.

4- 26 Sept – Sounds Of Homes – Nature’s Place
@ Wollongong City Gallery.

Sounds Of Homes – Nature’s Place, is a new audio-visual installation piece by Tegan Northwood (concept and sound), Shane Fahey (sound) and Honi Ryan (visuals). The installation is an immersive environmental piece that focuses on place, human connectivity and acoustic ecology. All the sound and visual elements were collected from selected natural habitats in Murramarang National Park and Kioloa State Forest in South Eastern NSW.
The exhibition opening night (4th Sept, 7-10pm) shall feature live audio-visual performances by Sounds Of Homes, Aaron Hull and Greg Hughes in collaboration, and Scott Morrison. Entry free.
